Savannah Engagement Photographer : Jen + Dave

Savannah Engagement Forsyth Park

I don’t even know where to begin.  This is one of 3 (epic) blog posts from Jen + Dave’s destination wedding in Savannah.  I didn’t even really edit myself with any of this, because I just can’t get enough of these two.  This post documents my first real meeting and interaction with them, starting with their marriage license application.  At first this was a somewhat challenging thing to photograph, but enter Evelyn.  She began to tell us wild stories about the people who come in to apply for marriage licenses.  It was absolutely hysterical.  She had us all in tears.  What was most profound was that I felt like the Lord was giving me a glimpse into what he has in store for them both, even in the mundane day-to-day.  Filling out forms.  Joy.  Laughter.  Fun.  Abundance.

Nashville Sunrise Engagement : Vanessa + Nate

So I have had issues with my blog hosting lately- forgive the gap in posts!  So excited to share a few of my favorites from Vanessa + Nate’s sunrise engagement session at Shelby Bottoms Greenway.  Can’t wait to photograph their wedding in June!

Long Hunter State Park Engagement : Blake + Ryan

So I am finally coming up for air after a fantastic but very busy wedding season.  Going to try to dedicate more time to catching up with blogging– for now, here are a few favorites from my July (yes, I said it, JULY) engagement session with Blake + Ryan at Long Hunter State Park.  We had so much fun wandering around and sitting on cliffs– I was also excited they brought their beloved pup with them for some photos.  I absolutely loved Ryan’s dry sense of humor, and Blake has an amazing and infectious smile.  Can’t wait for their Spring wedding!

Sunset Pedestrian Bridge Engagement : Maeven + Chris

So when I first met Maeven several years ago, I remember thinking “she is just so happy and sweet and friendly.  There is no way that is actually real…like all the time”  Well folks, after years of knowing Maeven, I am here to tell you that it is.  She is one of the most kind-hearted, caring, lovely, genuine people I know…like all the time.  Though I haven’t known Chris for as long, what I do know is that he truly loves and cares for Maeven the way she deserves and I am truly honored to be capturing their wedding today.  I pray many blessings over their marriage.  I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for you both!
